Slow computer costs JAL some Yen
One of Asia’s biggest airlines, Japanese Airlines, had to cancel a flight and delay eighteen other flights because their computer system was running slowly. The network that ran the check in was not operating properly so the airline could not process is customer fast enough when they arrived to check in.
Nearly 5,000 thousand of the airlines customer were affected by the slow running computer glitches. Most of the problems occurred at the Tokyo’s Haneda airport but the problem was experienced throughout the carriers system.
